We had a fantastic day out on the sand with Dave this weekend for the Noosa North Shore driving course. Dave was a great instructor, very knowledgeable on all 4WD vehicles and how they perform on the sand, which was great for us who are new to 4WD’ing. We learnt lots of great tips and now feel confident to safely drive on the sand. Looking forward to getting back on the beach and exploring more of this beautiful part of the country. Highly recommend the course to others.

Did the Noosa North Shore sand driving course with Dave on 16 December. What an excellent day and course. Considering that I find deflating tyres a challenge this was a great confidence booster, and very informative as well. Dave is a great instructor, with both humour and professionalism and never patronizing and as well as imparting many pearls of wisdom also included some mythbusting. Have to mention that Noosa is a stunning place, and by virtue of being on the course got a guided tour. Highly recommend this course.

Fantastic experience - great 4WD training. I attended an advanced 4WD and recovery course hosted by the Australian Offroad Academy in the Gordon Country area. I was part of a business group for this. Dave and Mike really knows their stuff and they are excellent teachers – their knowledge goes far beyond the theory and mechanics, but included the wisdom and experience of many years of off-road driving and training. Highly recommended!

This is not an ordinary way to experience Fraser Island. In the morning Dave taught us the important aspects of driving a 4WD on the sand. Then we practised. After a great lunch in the King Fisher resort we we ready to explore the island while driving ourselves. While Dave showed us the best places on the island, he gave advice and feedback on our driving. Always in a very friendly, constructive way, which is really reassuring. This was really one of our highlights of our Australian holiday. Even if you feel nervous I can recommend doing this. You will experience the thrill and feel more secure driving a 4WD afterwards.
